CODA CAMP 2027

We are excited to announce that CODA Camp is returning in 2027!

CODA Camp brings hearing children of Deaf parents together to make new friends, share experiences and celebrate their CODA identity in a fun, welcoming and supportive environment.

Camp 2027 Details

Dates: Friday 30th July – Monday 2nd August 2027

Location: Ford Castle, Northumberland

Age: 7–17 years

Applications for CODA Camp 2027

Applications open on 1st November 2026!

Places are limited, and submitting an application does not guarantee your child a place.

Families will be contacted by email by 8th November 2026 with the outcome of their application.

Successful applicants will receive further information about paying the deposit and completing the child information form.

If your child is placed on the waiting list, please don't worry. We will contact you if a place becomes available.

CODA Camp Bursary Fund

We believe every CODA child deserves the opportunity to experience camp, regardless of their family's financial circumstances.

We understand that the cost of camp can be a financial challenge for some families. To help make CODA Camp more accessible, we have a dedicated Bursary Fund to support families who may need financial assistance.

If you are concerned about the cost of camp, we encourage you to apply for bursary support.

All requests will be considered individually, and financial support will be offered depending on each family's circumstances and the funding available.

Please don't let financial worries stop you from applying.

CODA Camp 2026 will be our 14th CODA Camp. The Camp is aimed at being able to provide a safe place for CODA children to come and spend a weekend with other CODAs who have shared lived experiences. All of the children and adult volunteers attending are CODAs themselves. We focus on being able to celebrate our deaf heritage and the unique experiences we all have from growing up with deaf parents and as a part of the deaf world. The camp is for any children with either 1 or 2 deaf parents, aged from 7-17.
